Writing prose with Beat makes me laugh. I don't know why. I used to do it before, but... it seems different in roleplay? It's probably just because I've gotten so used to writing him in first person that it just seems odd to do it any other way. I can't complain too because I was the one who decided to do it in third. I've got no one to blame except myself. |D

I've been extremely sluggish though today, in general. I've been making excuses like the bed is too comfy of the weather's too hot, just so I have a reason not to do something else. And school hasn't even begun. I suppose I'm a little afraid to see how bad my procrastination will progress come the start of the term. Perhaps getting a lighter schedule is a good plan... But that doesn't change the fact I need to tag around.

Besides that, I've accomplished almost half of the list I made a couple of days back (yes I've been updating that post with my progress). My closet is finally fixed. Amusingly, I decided to do it at 1am in the morning, in between some slow tagging. I finished just before 2am. 8D

I'm considering rewatching Gurren-Lagann again before the break officially ends just in case I do end up apping Kittan, take notes at least so that it doesn't coincide with my schoolwork. Now... to find those CDs.

I spent majority of yesterday hunting the internet for new TWEWY images. The lack of Beat and Rhyme in my folders makes me weep. I know this was triggered because the Paid Fairy has been kind~

Everyone is going to hate me when I say that I've got a week left until classes start. |D Until then I'll have to try to at least finish the following things before Friday:

→ Rearrange bookshelf because it is a mess right now. And cover the new books with plastic.
→ Clean closet. DONE! At 1:30 AM, too!
→ Reformat desktop.
→ Reformat laptop.
→ Redo layout and profile and userpics DONE! (1, 2, 3)
→ Finish/put up those Yosuke/Chie fanfics that I promised drifth and Dana.
→ Finish making new icons for Rise.
→ Make an icon post.
→ Download the latest chapter of Akagami no Shirayukihime. DONE! FFFF THEY'RE SO SWEET TOGETHER.
→ Find a new manga to read. Anyone have any suggestions? I'm up for anything, whether seinen, shoujo, shounen. DONE!

I woke up late for drums today and didn't even text my teacher that I wasn't coming anymore... Then I remembered he said something about not being around today because of some gig, but I can't tell if he really told me that or if I had just made that up to make myself feel better. orz;;

On another note, I received my first bad crit for one of my characters this morning. I'm actually pretty glad someone else pointed it out to me. I was well aware of my activity flaw and how that affected the character because he's rather social. I promised anon that if I don't fix up my act within the month, I would drop the character even if I do enjoy playing him. I meant every word of it. Despite that, I'm going to strive to be much more active with him even if he isn't in my main game. Here's to hoping I succeed with that.

HONESTY MEME

My parents talked to me about school again because of my failed classes last term. I'll be extending another term because one of them was a pre-requisite of another. I don't really like talking to my parents about school though. I always get the same lecture and it's gotten to the point where I could zone them out already. I don't exactly like retelling my day to them because they'll find it too technical and probably wouldn't even understand what I'm saying to them. "Oh hi parents. Today, we learned how to do use the bubble sort algorithm wherein blah blah blah." Right, I don't see that happening.

They're asking me to at least update them now.. which I don't like doing either. I never tell them when my exams and tests are because I imagine they'd hound me about studying if I did. It's already happened. One of my carpoolmates who I shared three classes with asked how my studying was going during my shift, which my mom takes. For the next week, I was asked if I was studying almost every hour. I just couldn't help but get exasperated with her during that time.

All I know is that they want me to make a weekly report about school now. Right... I guess, we'll just see how that goes when school really does begin.

HAPPY NEW YEAR'S!

The party last night was better than I originally expected. We spent it with my relatives, just four families which is relatively less than usual. What's funnier is we spent it at my uncle's house. Said uncle is in the US... LOL HAI PLEASE TO BE USING YOUR HOUSE FOR NEW YEAR'S KTHX~

I expected that there wouldn't be any fireworks this year but my dad was able to buy a couple sparklers and some others so we were able to contribute to the noise. We actually had some sort of fiasco with them. My sister was lighting them with the sparkler and my dad would throw it over the gate, but apparently the paper stuck to his hand so the firework fell right in front of the two of them and went off. Luckily, my dad only got a slight burn on his finger. My sister's ear however is still ringing and that was over thirteen hours ago. Hopefully, it's nothing too bad.

Oh yeah, my mom wanted to watch this concert at midnight and when I turned the TV on, I paused and went "askdjalkdj THAT'S JAVERT!" Screw everyone else, I was pointing at Javert. xD They were all asking why I knew Les Mis, and I just kept laughing. You've embedded him into my mind, Lari.

i decided to write on a year-end blog entry. since the last one was just too bitter, mean and hurtful to end the year with.

so i apologize to crone_014 for everything that has been said until now. because its the right thing to do.

a few days ago, my dad decided to clean the whole house and throw out all the trash we've been too lazy to throw out until now.

after rummaging around my own garbage drawers and closets, i realized that i kept a lot of things dating from grade 6 until now and i had clung on to things that didn't really have any meaning in the first place. textbooks that i'll never get to use again, notebooks that i've had more scribbles at the back than real notes, photocopied papers that will never be read again. they were filled with dust that had accumulated over the years and carrying them all in a bundle was tiring and itched my arms to no end.
 
then i came across a box full of letters and pictures that made me remember a lot of things; the people i've met this past decade, the things i've done and learned, and the way i've changed.

despite all the hardships and irritating things, everything happened for a reason.

after the clean up, i have more space than i usually had and the box is still there. i shouldn't look back. but i shouldn't regret, or forget.

i'm ready for you 2010.

It's officially the last day of the year for me and I haven't done any of the things I had planned to finish before the new year rolls around, huzzah. For now I have little post-its scattered on items in my room, telling me what to do with them. My desktop has "reformat me" on it, my closet has "fix clothes" on it, and my book shelf has "wrap books in plastic." It's only 2am here but I don't think I'll be able to finish any of those before the party tomorrow. Thank god for Christmas break until the 11th?
